RADP-S is integrating women into program activities and to hold women-specific programs and trainings in each district. Chemonics will work closely with the CHA to respond to specific opportunities which will increase the participation of women in agricultural and agribusiness activities resulting in improvement of the economic and nutritional conditions of their families.



Women are already involved in small scale agriculture proactive such as vegetable production in the target area. For that, 15 percent of beneficiaries will be women and the gender officers that are leading by gender specialist working with women beneficiaries to improve their capacity in order to build their economy. To date, 1400 interested women being mobilized by the gender specialist and districts gender officers, and 400 of them received trainings on nutrition.
